I feel that there is no point in doing a research report if the only people who are going to learn from it are the teacher and other students in the class...So, I am going to share some of the little tid bits of knowledge I have aquired from doing this project.

•Upper left hand corner, blue square w/ white cross- importance of the Greek Orthodox Church
•Nine alternating blue and white stripes for the 9 syllables in the phrase “Eleutheria H Thanatos” meaning “freedom or death” - Area of 50,949 square miles (about the Size of England or Alabama)
- Highest mountain- Mount Olympus, 2917 m
- Meditteranean climate
- Famous Greeks- Homer (wrote Iliad & Odyssey) and Alexander the Great
- Olympics started in Greece in 776 BC: held at Temple of Zeus, in Olympia
